A hybrid cable that combines power and data transmission conductors in a single product is the ideal solution. It minimizes cabling work while allowing remote equipment to be connected quickly and easily – a particular advantage where long distances are involved. As a further benefit, the cable design eliminates interference caused by discrepancies in ground potential. Handling is further simplified by drum storage for the cables (from lengths of 50m).
The rugged PVC outer jacket encloses the finely stranded power cable with cross-section of 3 x 1.5 mm2 and the double-shielded data conductor. The cable is made up using our proven HC51P15 (1x CAT) or HC52P15 (2x CAT) bulk cables. Foil and braided copper shields provide 100% coverage. Closely twisted pairs of conductors boost resistance against external electromagnetic interference fields.
The cable drums naturally have thermal protection switches to protect from overheating. They are available with the following connector options: RJ45, etherCON, powerCON TRUE1 and earthed plugs.
